Knowledge and Experience

Before taking on more commercial and multifamily projects in the early 2000s, Stencil Construction earned a reputation as one of the top home builders in the Sioux Falls area.

These fine residential projects can still be found in many of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods. With hundreds of homes constructed over the years, many of which were the first locally to include features like hidden pantries and heated driveways, Stencil brings extensive experience to any space you might want to update or reimagine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions?

How long does it take to remodel?

The timeline for each project is entirely dependent on the scope and scale of work being done. A bathroom could potentially be remodeled in as little as one to two weeks, while the complete renovation of a historic home could take twelve or more months to complete. A likely timeline will be discussed during the initial consultation.

Can I live in my house during the remodeling process?

Whether or not you live in your house during a remodel depends on you and your specific project. If only a small space such as a bathroom or kitchen is being remodeled and you are willing to accept the noise and inconvenience, you should be perfectly fine living at home. In other cases, it may be preferable to find alternate accommodations temporarily due to the invasiveness of the project or other safety concerns.

Do you have experience with projects like mine? (For example, kitchen remodel, bathroom renovation, home addition, etc.)

Before transitioning primarily to commercial and multifamily, Stencil Construction was known as one of the premier home builders in the Sioux Falls area. With hundreds of homes built during that time, Stencil has ample experience with any space you might want to add or reconfigure.
